TAC Talk 2018: Praise Songs for the Mountains: Mongolian Fiddling Traditions in Environmental Context

For this public lecture at the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum (Blowing Rock, NC), I developed on the performance/lecture presentation style I had first tried out at TedX the year before. In this talk I gave an overview of Mongolian fiddling traditions with live examples of several songs, including Буйлган Шарын Явдал (Gait of the Bridled Yellow Camel) and Өнчин Цагаан Ботго (Orphaned White Camel Calf).
